Hey folks, happy Saturday!
I’ve nearly finished the Hamish update, and I’m expecting it to be out in the next day or so. I feel like I’ve added a fair bit of extra info while also compiling certain pieces of info from the story people will already know.
Once it’s posted, I would love some feedback! Let me know what info you like, what info you wish was included, or if it’s ordered in a way that doesn’t make sense to you. I’m very open to feedback as I want to create a format I can use for the entirety of the cast as well as for characters from future projects.
I’m also still hard at work on the book edit, hoping to have that done in the next week or so. Not going to lie, though, I have not been good at estimating how long each of these Sessions take. Sometimes I get through a lot in a day, other days I seem to barely get through a page. It just comes and goes.
It’s one of the reasons why I’m thinking of starting A Cry from Silence sooner rather than later. I know readers outside of my patrons are starved for content and I don’t want to lose any of the interest I’ve gained over the last year.
With that in mind, I’m currently planning a small getaway that will hopefully help my perspective for the new project. It’s been almost a year since the last one, and that retreat helped me complete the first draft of Ocean’s Heart. I’m hoping to get a similar result here as well.
I’ll let you know what happens in the next coming weeks, though. I’ll also let you know when I expect the book to be published. I still think I can get it done before the end of the year, it just may be closer to October or November instead of the previously planned August.
