Hello everyone, happy Thanksgiving!
Hope you all are doing well and having a great time with family and friends this wonderful day.
Considering the season, I figured today would be a good day for the public update instead of Saturday.
So the main thing that occurred this week was writing issues, which makes a fair bit of sense. In hindsight, I should have expected the Holiday season of Thanksgiving to affect the writing process, as it likely will for Christmas as well. With that in mind, I’ll probably need to delay Session 10 another week.
As for good news, I believe I have a system in mind that will allow for more frequent updates going forward. As most of you know, my chapters I post are quite long. Most are around 20-30 pages, with some approaching 50. While I started planning out the formatting for the book, I realized smaller bites would be wise.
I then realized earlier this week I can do the same for the uploads on this site while still maintaining my current writing rhythm.
Not gonna lie, I had a hearty laugh at myself after realizing this so late into writing this first book. With that in mind, My goal is to finish Session 10, then break it apart into chapters, similar to how it will be shown in the book. These chapters for Session 10 will then be released weekly.
So instead of a sneak peek, I’m going to instead finish up writing Session 10 and the sneak peek will instead be the first chapter of Session 10. Upon release of the first chapter, I’ll also restructure the site and get the other Sessions reformatted to a similar style. My hope with this is that you’ll all have a more pleasant reading experience on the site and you won’t feel as starved for content if something again happens in my life slowing down writing.
Also, if this is successful and well received, I’ll maintain this system going forward for both Book 2 in TFT and with other projects like A Cry from Silence!
Let me know what you think in the comments, as I would love some feedback from those checking out my site or social media pages.
That’s all I have for now, hope you all have a pleasant evening and I pray you all take this opportunity to appreciate the good in your life, whether it be big or small!
