Hello folks! It’s that time again!
So first off, let me just say, the wedding was a grand success! My friend had a great time, wonderful memories, and I pray only that he and his new wife might enjoy many beautiful years together!
That said, it was quite the mental load on my shoulders. I was only only a groomsman, but this friend has been near and dear to my heart since I was a kid. Furthering that burden, I have not had many opportunities to spend time with him and his new wife. Since I was not as close to her as others were, I felt I needed to put my best foot forward, and that seems to have burnt out most of my other faculties.
However, it is over! And there are no other major life events planned any time soon, I hope!
So, with that in mind, but hope for July is excessive productivity! I can’t say all of it will be towards writing, but it will all be devoted to expanding my reach and ability to make better works of art for all my followers to enjoy!
That said, I also want to say that I have working to develop my reach on social media. Since my image skills are lacking(hence why so much art on the site is currently AI, though I do hope to replace most if not all of it one day with real artist’s work), this has mostly come about on X, formerly known as twitter. I cannot say I am very good at it, but if you are hoping to hear more from me or interact with me more, that will be the best place for it!
I am also not forgetting to write!
My current plans are to finish up the Prologue for the Ocean’s Heart sequel, then either work on the first chapter of the book or get When Flames Fade’s first chapter off the ground. Either way, my goal is to start properly building a backlog again. A backlog that will allow me to post story chapters consistently and weekly without any major delays. I do not want a repeat of what’s been happening lately, where all I have to share month after month are updates.
Lord willing, this backlog will be built sooner rather than later. If you are wanting sooner, however, I would recommend looking at the Patreon! I will be posting all drafts of story chapters there first, then here, and then on other sites that I believe will help me gain traction among readers.
So let’s hoist the sails! The rest of this year will be busy, but good busy, Lord willing!
Until then, however, I wish you all well and pray you have a great weekend! And to those in the US, I wish a very happy 250th anniversary!
