A New Beginning

Hello everyone, happy Friday!

Man, it has been quite some time, hasn’t it? Feels like it has been ages since I last posted here. And yet, also like I have been doing nothing but posting.

Why, you might ask? Well, I’m sure most of you got notifications the last few weeks from my efforts, so I doubt I have to explain.

But, I’ll explain anyway, just to safe!

Long story short, I have completely revamped the site! Well, most of it, anyway. I’m sure I missed something or forgot something along the way, but regardless, the site has been rebooted! Most obvious change is the new theme, hope you guys like it! I wanted something simple that made reading on here easy and comfortable.

After that, I revamped how I will be posting stories. This new method should make it easier to find where you left off while keeping the story chapters in nice-sized chunks of reading for people to binge, if they so choose. I also added images created through WordPress’ built-in image generator to give them each a memorable and eye-catching image to help set the scene.

Going forward, this will be how I set up every story on this site. So I hope you all like the new look!

AN IMPORTANT NOTE, however. Every work I post on this site is an early manuscript, NOT the final product. I post on here, partially to advertize my stories, but also to get feedback and share with those who already enjoy my work. For example, Ocean’s Heart on this site is NOT the book that will be publishing in the near future. The book contains not only updated and polished writing, but also additional information, some extra scenes, and a full prologue! If you liked the manuscript I posted here, I would recommend supporting the official release that should be coming out within the next couple of months!

As for updates like this, I have decided to share my progress on a monthly basis, covering both my writing and publishing efforts, since Ocean’s Heart should be coming out very soon! Monthly updates will come out on the first Friday of every month, sharing what’s currently going on, what I hope to accomplish in the coming month, and what you all can expect that month. You can find the most recent updates on the News section of the site, but it will only show the three most updates. The rest will be archived, left on the site for those that care to use them, but moved aside to make it easier for those just looking for updates on my progress.

I may also occasionally drop random updates, but only in cases where I have something urgent to say.

Lastly, the final change is simply that I will not be continuing work on any other projects beyond writing at this time. While I love working towards getting stuff up for characters, settings, and other fun things to share with you all, it actually takes a lot of time and effort to make sure I can write something worth reading. That time, I think, could be better spent writing or crafting my notes for my own use. If, in the future, circumstances change and I have more time and energy on my hands, I will gladly go back and update the ones I’ve already written and create many more for all my stories! It’s just a matter of time management, for now.

As for my current projects, I will be juggling the sequel book to Ocean’s Heart, A Cry from Silence, and When Flames Fade. Ocean’s Heart will be published some time in the near future, so be on the look out for that!
