Hello everyone, hope you’re doing well.
As you can see by the title, my month did not go as I hoped.
Delays, troubles popping up out of nowhere, problems at work. Nothing earth shattering, thank the Lord, but enough to grind my gears and drain my productivity down the tubes.
For that reason, I have meager results to show for the last few weeks. About 7 pages added to Ocean’s Heart sequel, making the total number 27. Better than nothing, but far from the hopeful speculation of last month.
Bright side, I think most of them are solved. While I still expect taxes to be their own headache, I think the worst troubles are behind me.
Still, no news from my cover artist, though, but that’s why the title here is about patience.
I have been chomping at the bit on a few things, but life seems to keep getting in the way. That is sure to anger anyone, but it also gives a chance for reflection.
I was quite tempted to write this in a more negative light. I am still dealing with a few problems, after all, so the frustration has yet to abate. Still, we all have our troubles, and it’s why we should try to be kind.
Not because it is easy, especially when other people are the ones causing your problems, but because we all have reasons to not be our best. Especially in this day and age, there are so many reasons to be hurt or frustrated. So many times it would be easier to just lash out than hold back.
For me, this is one of those times. So I’m trying to take my licks and be a better person because of them. That doesn’t mean I’m succeeding, but I am trying.
We all deserve a little grace, a little understand, and a lot of forgiveness. The least I can do is try to show that as best I can. Lord knows it isn’t easy for anyone!
So, with that, I’ll just leave off with a prayer that you all are doing well. That March ends better than it begins and that we all find joy where God shines it.
God bless you all and have a great weekend!

Well said! And my thoughts and prayers are with you during your struggles and frustrations.
