Hello everyone, and happy new year!
Apologies for the delay in this update. The holiday season was not as kind as I would have hoped. A dear family pet, one whom I’ve kept and cherished since I was 15 years old passed this December. Her name was Chloe, a beautiful golden retriever with a personality like sunshine and a warmth that could make all who met her fall in love with her.
She lived a full, beautiful life, but time caught up with her, as it does us all. I will dearly miss her, and cherish the memories she gave me and love we shared as pet and owner.
The season was also quite busy, so I have very little to share in the way of an update.
That said, I intend to bury myself in work the next month. Nothing truly in my way now, and so I will retake to writing with a passion and vigor more akin to my younger years.
While I am still hard at work with the Prologue of my next book, I realized it carries far too many spoilers for information added in the final manuscript of my book. For that reason, I am forced to delay my release of chapters until chapter 1 is finished. With that in mind, however, I am still hard at work with my cover artist for Ocean’s Heart.
There is still no clear release date. My artist is quite busy, but he has assured me numerous times that I am a top priority since he is aware that the cover is the final piece stopping me from publishing.
When Flames Fade is also on the docket for progress this month, however, and I can start releasing those chapters once I’m confident I have a schedule I can keep.
All this said, I am planning to put my nose to the grindstone these next few weeks and really crank out progress.
Wish me luck, and I pray you all have a great month!
