Hello folks!

Another month, another update!

Hope you’re all doing well, enjoying your summer and all that. As for me, I have been a busy bee! Sadly, busy does not always equal progress. I’ve been bouncing around between several projects this month. Currently started a contracting gig on the side to help raise funds for publishing, which has taken extra time here and there. I always have been helping a good friend of mine get something started for his own online ambitions. Hard to say when those will bear fruit, but something I look forward to sharing once it is done.

That isn’t to say I haven’t been working on my own projects, either! I have a couple ideas of things I want to try and do for this Halloween season. Nothing too extreme, just had some ideas that I hope to get off the ground across my social media pages as well as here.

The first is just a simple challenge for the month, I enjoy the exercise of creating two sentence horror stories, so I’ll be trying to make a new one each day. Just check out my profile on X, where I also interact with other writers and occasionally post my thoughts or ideas bouncing around my head each day.

I also have decided, after much consideration, that this Halloween is the perfect time to share some exciting, as yet unseen chapters in the Realm Heart Saga! At the start of the month, Patrons will gain access to the Prologue from Ocean’s Heart that was written for the official release of the novel. Patreon also allows for people to purchase posts, and I’ll be including that as an option for those eager to check it out! I will also be releasing two exciting excerpts from another series I am hoping to get the ball rolling on, A Cry from Silence! These excerpts will be files the Tainen crew discover as the explore the dilapidated space station Adderact, which will give some insight into the world and the dark and dangerous depths of space in that universe. Those will be released early on the Patreon, but I will also publish them here on Halloween itself!

Patrons will also gain a fun additional treat on good ole Hallow’s Eve, in the form of the first taste of book 2 in Realm Heart! The prologue is nearly done, and I’ll share an excerpt from it that feels fitting for the season for those most loyal patrons.

Expect a few bone chilling frights or at least a spooky time!
